Tottenham: Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car

An investigation has started over the death of a woman hit by a car in Tottenham.

Met Police say the thirty year-old woman had just got out of a minicab on Lordship Road at 14.26 on Saturday 12th October 2013 when the accident happened and died at the scene.

Police and London Ambulance Service attended and the 30 year old female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim had just exited a minicab when she was in collision with the Honda Civic.

The male driver stopped at the scene and has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit are investigating.
