Two Arrested Over Hackney Stabbing

Police in Hackney are appealing for information and witnesses after two youths were stabbed.

Officers were called at around 17.30hrs on Wednesday, 20 March, to two youths stabbed in the area of the Pembury Estate, Clapton E5.

The two victims were taken by London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital.

Police released this statement:

A 16-year-old male remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A 15-year-old male has been discharged from hospital.

Detectives from Hackney CID are investigating. They retain an open mind on the circumstances of the incident, and any motive.

Two men - aged 28 and 20 - were arrested on Thursday 21st March, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. Both remain in custody at London police stations.
