It's the warmest day of the year so far, with forecasters predicting Mediterranean temperatures for the weekend.

It's hit 22 degrees in London, higher than Malta, Athens and Barcelona.

And it could be in the low 20s at the weekend as well.

April usually struggles to get above 12C.
