The latest Andrew Lloyd-Webber musical opened at the London Palladium last night with a glittering premiere attended by celebrities including Sir Michael Caine.
The Wizard of Oz stars Michael Crawford and 18 year old Danielle Hope, who won a talent show to secure the role of Dorothy.
Although the new version includes the well-loved songs of the film musical, composer Lloyd-Webber and lyricist Tim Rice have created several new numbers.
The production also marks the first major collaboration between the hit-making duo for more than 30 years.
