Amy Winehouse ‘creates small size line’

Amy Winehouse has extended her Fred Perry clothing line to include UK size six garments.

The singer has created 17 individual pieces for the casual clothing label, all of which will be available to buy this month.

Amy is known for her slender figure, so it is believed she persuaded executives to make her clothing line available for UK size six ladies, which is only one size larger than the controversial US size zero.

The company previously only catered for girls as small as a British size eight, but according to reports, Amy convinced her colleagues to provide for smaller ladies.

Among the items in the 50s-inspired collection are dresses, cropped trousers and pencil skirts, with most of the items coming in black or pink.

The 27-year-old musician doesn’t condone crash diets or size zero, but says it is just that some women are naturally smaller.

“When I started eating right, I lost quite a lot of weight. Everyone thinks it was because my eating habits got a lot better and I came to my natural weight,” explained the star.

Amy’s Fred Perry collection is not just a one-off – the talented singer will create pieces for the fashion label for the next four seasons.
