Church opens up about Henson

Charlotte Church has opened up about split with Gavin Henson and new relationship with Jonathan Powell

Charlotte Church has spoken candidly about her split with rugby player Gavin Henson and her new relationship with musician Jonathan Powell.

In an interview with Heat magazine the singer and TV personality has admitted being overjoyed when Henson, with whom she has two children, proposed. However things weren't going to last.

Church said that when Gavin went on a trip to the Arctic for a TV show, the time spent apart made them both realise that getting married would be a mistake.

Church, who is currently dating musician John Powell, stressed at least two months passed since the split with Henson before she started seeing Powell.
She added that she spoke to Henson about her new relationship first and asked him for his blessing.
