Clooney to receive special Emmy
George Clooney's charity work is to be recognised at this year's Emmy Awards
The Hollywood star will receive the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award and will be the fourth winner.
Clooney hosted the Hope for Haiti Telethon, which took place in January. The show itself is also up for an Emmy.
The 49 year old's also been involved in raising funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and increasing
awareness about genocide in Darfur.
The Emmy Awards will take place on 29 August in Los Angeles.
