Ghost musical to debut in March

The film Ghost is being turned into a musical

The hugely successful film Ghost is being turned into a musical directed by Tony winner Matthew Warchus.

Ghost, which starred Demi Moore, Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg will debut at the Manchester Opera House on March the 28th and will run for seven weeks before heading to the London's West End.

It's been confirmed that the music and lyrics will be written by Eurythmics' Dave Stewart and producer Glen Ballard.

A Japanese remake of the film is also in the pipeline.
