Paris was asleep at home when she was woken up by intruder

Paris Hilton was asleep at her Los Angeles home when she was woken up by a noise and noticed a man wielding two knives outside her place.

The heiress posted an image on Twitter of the police arresting the stranger outside her house and wrote "so scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes (sic). Cops are here arresting him."

Hilton is believed to be safe and unharmed.
