Friends and family advise Russell Brand to let Katy Perry have anything she wants for their wedding

Russell Brand has revealed that his celebrity friends have advised him to let Katy Perry have anything she wants for their big day.

In an interview with Harriet Scott on Heart 106.2, Brand said that celebrity pals like Noel Gallagher and David Walliams and Katy's father have told him to just say yes to the bride-to-be and look interested in the wedding plans.

Brand and Perry are expected to tie the knot at a yet-to-be-disclosed date this month. Brand has said that the big day will not be outrageous, but rather mundane, and it will have a first dance like any other wedding.

The couple have asked their guests not to buy them gifts but to make donations to charities instead, saying that they both have good jobs and don't need anything else.
