Lily Allen shows off engagement ring

Lily Allen has posted a link to her blog on Twitter, in which she showed off a manicure she'd just had done in New York, saying: "A girl cant (sic) do Manhattan sans manicure".

The image she posted was of her left hand, and a diamond engagement ring is clearly visible.

Allen has gotten engaged to her builder boyfriend Sam Cooper, after he proposed to her on Christmas day whilst they were on holiday in Indonesia.

The "Smile" popstar reportedly burst into tears before accepting the marriage proposal.
