Liz Hurley confirms marriage separation

Elizabeth Hurley has confirmed her separation from Arun Nayar.

The model-and-actress married Indian businessman Arun in 2007 although allegations that their union was in trouble emerged earlier today when reports of a romance between her and Australian cricketer Shane Warne were reported in a British newspaper.

Elizabeth has now taken to her page on social-networking website Twitter to clear up the reports, revealing her marriage to Arun was actually over some time ago. The star revealed their loved-ones had been the only people to be informed until now.

“Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun and I separated a few months ago. Our close family and friends were aware of this (sic),” wrote Elizabeth on her Twitter page.

Reports that the marriage between Elizabeth and Arun was in trouble surfaced on the Internet around a year ago, although the beautiful star denied the rumours at the time.
