Mulligan confirmed for Great Gatsby

Director Baz Luhrmann confirms Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan

 The "Moulin Rouge" director has offered the Great Gatsby role of Daisy Buchanan to the "An Education" actress.

In an interview with online magazine Deadline, Luhrmann confirmed that Daisy Buchanan's role has gone to British Carey Mulligan.

Luhrmann has however said that he's still unsure whether The Great Gatsby will be his next project, as there are still a few issues to iron out.

Leonardo DiCaprio has been confirmed in the title role of Gatsby and Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway.
