Nicole Scherzinger's single at number 3 after spectacular X Factor performance

Nicole Scherzinger set temperature soaring with an energetic performance on the X Factor on Sunday night.

The Pussycat Dolls singer performed solo single Poison dressed in a black and red PVC catsuit and knee-high boots.

Poison, which had entered the charts yesterday at number 9, immediately shot up to number 3 following Nicole's TV appearance.

Other guests on last night's X Factor included boy band The Wanted and Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber.
