Pattinson has turned down an offer from Simon Cowell to release his music.

Robert Pattinson has admitted he's turned down an offer from Simon Cowell to release his music.

Pattinson, who is a talented songwriter and had previously recorded songs for the Twilight soundtrack, doesn't believe his music is for the masses and thinks the best place for it is a dingy old blues club.

In the meantime there has been speculation that both Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will take time off after they've completed the last installment of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 2.
Neither actor has signed up for a new role, leading many to believe that the couple wants to take time off and stay out of the limelight for a while.
