Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoy a pub lunch

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took some time out from their busy schedules to pop down the local.

During their tour of Cambridgeshire Kate and Wills turned down the offer of a fancy banquet at the University of Cambridge, instead opting for a trip to the local pub.

Will and Kate enjoyed a quiet lunch together in the beautiful 16^th century Fort Saint George pub, and by the sounds of things, it was delicious.

The couple tucked into sandwiches, chips and even mini burgers served by pub landlord Gail Pritchard.
