Radcliffe's new film roles

The Harry Potter actor will star in Woman In Black and in "The Amateur Photographer"

Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that his new film roles couldn't be more different from his previous work.

The actor has said in an interview with Total Film that he's not sure how his fans will react at seeing him in The Woman In Black, a horror film in which he plays Arthur Kipps, a widower and a father.

"I would call it a character-driven horror film" said Radcliffe "along the line of The Orphanage or The Others. It's slow-burning and it's very, very scary".

The Harry Potter star has also just signed up to star in "The Amateur Photographer", an indie film set in the 70s about a man who discovers his artistic calling for photography.

The Woman In Black is released in October.
