Samantha Cameron to join the British Fashion Council
Cameron will step into advisor role for the British Fashion Council
Samantha Cameron has been appointed fashion advisor by the British Fashion Council.
The Prime Minister's wife will take on her unpaid role from February 2011 and will help promote young British designers.
Cameron, who has recently become a mum for the fourth time to daughter Florence, is not new to the world of fashion and luxury.
Before husband David became Prime Minister last May, she was creative director of upmarket stationer Smythson, a role she will go back to two days a week after her maternity leave.
Samantha Cameron has been praised for her sense of style and has topped several best dressed polls.
