Shirlena won't be Miss England

The X Factor hopeful who did a bizarre version of Duffy's Mercy on Saturday's show has been thrown out of another competition.

Shirlena Johnson told Simon Cowell she was 30.

The single mum from London had also applied for Miss Great Britain saying she was 28 - but the age limit is 29 and she's been dropped.

However her shrieking and wailing were enough to win her a place in the next round of X Factor.
