New figures out this morning show unemployment has risen slightly in the North East.
The Office For National Statistics says there were 132,000 people out of work in the region between May and July this year - an increase of 1,000 on the previous quarter.
That means 4,000 fewer people were unemployed in the North East compared to this time last year.
More women than men were out of work here - with 67,000 women unemployed compared to 65,000 men.
The region still has the highest unemployment rate in the country, with one in ten people without a job.
Nationally unemployment fell by 146,000 between May and July to 2.2 million.
The number of people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance last month also fell by 37,200 to 966,500.
