Celebrities entertain troops

Robbie Williams, The Wanted and Alexandra Burke are just some of the names performing at the Heroes concert this Sunday. We take a look at stars who've supported the troops.

The line up is stellar, with Robbie, Alexandra, The Saturdays, James Blunt and The Wanted performing at the Heroes Concert in Twickenham this Sunday. The Heroes Concert, in aid of injured soldiers, is a great way of helping a good cause whilst having fun watching your favourite bands.

Many stars have done their bit for the troops both in the UK and abroad, visiting and providing entertainment to the stationed soldiers.
David Beckham
visited troops in Afghanistan last May, opera singer Katherine Jenkins has performed in Basrah whilst Geri Halliwell and Steps entertained the soldiers in Oman in 2001.

But these are only a few names. Take a look at our gallery of stars putting themselves on the line to bring some fun to the troops.
