Trek Sahara: 2 – 11 March 2012

Take part in an incredible journey across the Sahara Desert. This 100km trek through the world's largest desert will challenge you with its shifting sand dunes, dazzling white saltpans and vast plains, but the rewards are enormous with breathtaking sunsets, panoramic views, and shimmering mirages.

The trek offers a diverse range of scenery and challenging terrain with deep gorges, rocky plateaus and hidden oases as you follow in the footsteps of the Tuareg Nomads with a caravan of camels to lighten the load.

Experience a new nomadic pace of life – rise with the sun, seek shade at a desert oasis and fall asleep under a blanket of stars. The journey ends in the magical city of Marrakech, set against the stunning backdrop of the snow capped High Atlas Mountains. 

The trek is organised by our tour operators, Discover Adventure and is open to anyone wanting to raise money for any charity. You will meet others on your trip who are raising money for many different charities, but you all have one thing in common: pushing your limits, and doing something very worthwhile at the same time.

Fundraising For Have a Heart

Have a Heart aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged children living in our local communities.  This trip of a lifetime will be made all the more memorable by the knowledge that every step you make will raise much-needed funds for Have a Heart.

We ask for a non-refundable registration fee of £299, and a commitment from our trekkers to raise a minimum of £2500.

Upon registration you will be sent a comprehensive fundraising pack full of useful information to help you reach your goal!
