The family of James Howard have today paid tribute to the 11 year old, who died after being hit by a car while skateboarding near his home.
They remember the 'wonderful, lovely' boy and say that the 'tragic accident' was no-one's fault in the full statement, below.
"James Howard was our wonderful, lovely, 11 year old boy. Everyone remembers him as always being so full of fun, energy and enthusiasm in everything he did. He had a huge range of friends and he was always able to make everyone laugh. He brought the joy out in everything he did and everyone he touched.
As parents we are devastated at our loss, as is his 10 year old sister Anna who has lost her best friend. It was just a tragic accident that was no one's fault. At least we still have our beautiful daughter Anna who we must support during this terrible time for all of us."
