Man In Court Over Polding Murder

Ricardo Pisano, 35, is appearing before magistrates in Brighton charged with murdering a man whose body lay undiscovered in his flat for two months.

Pisano was arrested following a disturbance in a house in Southampton in the early hours of Monday.

His alleged victim, Michael Polding, 62, was found dead in his flat in the Kemp Town area of Brighton last July.

Openly gay Mr Polding, who had moved to Brighton from London nine months previously, had suffered multiple injuries, a post-mortem examination found. It is believed he was killed in the middle of May.
