Missing Woman

Police are appealing for help to locate Jo Brick, who went missing from the Amberly Ward in Eastbourne District General Hospital on Friday, 13 August around 10.20am.

Jo, 48, went shopping in Eastbourne but failed to return to the hospital. There have been no reported sightings of her.

Detective Inspector, Paul Phelps said: "Jo was generally free to come and go from the Amberly Ward for short periods. However, it is almost two weeks since she failed to return and staff at the hospital are very concerned for her wellbeing. Police units have been searching Eastbourne town centre and surrounding areas since she was reported missing"

Jo is 5' 7", of slim build with shoulder length black hair. She was wearing a white loose fitting cotton top and white jeans.

Jo suffers from a mental health condition but is physically fit and able-bodied.  She is not a risk to the public and had no money, handbag or mobile phone with her.
