Brighton Marathon Brunch at The Grand
As our team of Have a Heart Heroes led by Jack entered the final stages of their training, we got them together for a special Brighton Marathon Brunch at The Grand.
Over 70 members of our team joined us to get some words of encouragement from their team captain, plus some advice on the last stages of their training, their running footwear and help with any injuries that they'd sustained during the training.
Our special guest was Matt White. Matt is the father of brave young lad Felix White who sadly lost his battle against neuroblastoma last summer, and is the reason why Jack has taken on the Brighton Marathon challenge. Matt gave a very emotional speech about Felix, leaving not a dry eye in the room, and reminding all of our runners that all the pain and hours of training is truly worth it.
THANK YOU to The Grand who very kindly donated the venue and a healthy breakfast for our Have a Heart Heroes free of charge; and to our team of experts who joined us on the morning.
The Grand Brighton is more than just a hotel - it's an iconic piece of British history at the centre of one of the most famous seafronts in the world.
