Big Town Showdown Winner Summer 2016

So it’s been a tense week on the Big Town Showdown as the five greatest players from across the season have battled it out on our week of champions, to have their town crowned as the smartest place in Sussex & Surrey.

Tracey in Heathfield, Hazel In St Leonards & Ant in Brighton all gave it their best, but with their penalties for wrong guesses, they weren’t fast enough to finish on top this season. Sam in Dorking came close, getting 10 out of 10 with a time of 40.4 seconds, but there could only be one winner…EMMA IN HORSHAM!

She did her home town proud and to thank her for her valiant effort, we lined up some great prizes to make sure that her, and her family have the best summer ever.

Thorpe Park Pic

We lined up a family pass for her to go and enjoy Thorpe Park, where they can experience Derren Brown’s Ghost Train, The “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here” Maze and The Rhumba Rapids.

Clown fish

And our friends down at Blue Reef Aquarium Hastings will to get them exploring the tropical waters of the deep ocean, coming face-to-face with seahorses, pufferfish, sharks and loads more.

Washbrooks Farm

Also the guys down at Washbrooks Farm want to welcome them down to pet the animals, ride on tractors and shoot down ziplines with an annual pass to the Farm.

Butlin's

AND Butlins Bognor Regis, want to give them a family day pass to their resort. The pass includes unlimited rides in the traditional funfair, live daytime entertainment in the skyline pavilion, sports activities with qualified coaches, the incredible splash waterworld and a tots indoor fair and soft play area.

Cisswood House

And after all that time running after the kids, she’ll need some time to wind down! So we’re going to send her for an overnight stay at the beautiful Cisswood House Hotel in Lower Beeding, where she’ll enjoy use of their leisure club and pool and a delicious dinner from their English Tapas Menu and Breakfast the following morning.
