Baby giraffe born at Chester Zoo

A baby Rothschild giraffe has been born at Chester Zoo.

The Rothschild Giraffe was born at the Zoo in the early hours of Monday November 1st to 12 year old mum Aoife.

This is the first pure Rothschild giraffe to be born at Chester Zoo.

The baby giraffe is five and a half feet tall, her mum's height is impressive 15 feet.

The baby giraffe is the fifth for dad Thorn 9 years old.
