Biker killed in North Wales crash

A man has died after his motorbike crashed in North Wales over the weekend.

54-year-old John Hemmings died on Saturday morning on the Mold Road between Northop and his Connah's Quay home.

Leaving devoted wife Karen, beloved mother Roberta and six brothers as well as nieces and nephews.  He worked for KMS Hardrange, Bagillt as a delivery driver.

 “John was a big fan of Wrexham Football Club and England. His main interest was motorbike riding and  he participated annually in the Charity Egg Run event held in New Brighton.

"John and I travelled all over Europe visiting War Memorial sites as this was one of his passions. John will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.”

Police have started a full investigation into what happened.

A spokesman said:

"The road traffic collision occurred at 11am on Saturday 23 October on Mold Road, between Northop and Connahs Quay.

"The driver and front seat passenger of the car involved in the collision received treatment for minor injuries in hospital and were later released."
