Clear up continues after flash floods

A clear up is underway after flash floods hit the North West and North Wales.

Across Merseyside the Fire Service took almost 200 calls with roads shutting in parts of Liverpool and Wirral during Tuesday afternoon's torrential rain.

Fire crews in North Wales took 35 calls with reports of flooded properties in part of Wrexham.

In Hightown around 100 houses were left without electricity which energy provider Scottish Power said could be down to the weather.

Most homes were back on supply by Wednesday morning but around 30 properties were still affected.
