Dad delivers son on Christmas day

A dad who delivered his wife's baby boy in the early hours of Christmas Morning says it was the best present he could have wished for.

Richard and Vanessa Chudyk-Williams from Little Sutton in Ellesmere Port welcomed baby boy Cade into the world on Christmas Morning after a quick two hours of labour.

Richard was talked through the labour by paramedics on the phone he says:

'They said watch the head, make sure you hold the body but be careful you don't drop it as it will be slippy. Thankfully I didn't drop the baby, I think it's all down to my American football that I play with the Chester Romans team. I've got good hands so I think that played a massive part in not dropping the baby."
