Dragon Tower project a step closer

The Dragon tower project at Chirk is a step closer today, as a planning application has been handed to Wrexham Council.

North wales could be about to get one of the most ambitious art projects seen in the Country - a 210 foot dragon sculpture.

The dragon will be seen for miles and would be built on the Wales -England border at Chirk.

A decision is expected in early Autumn.

Chairman Simon Wingett says:

“A landmark moment, not only in our planning process but in unveiling the 20th scale model of the world’s greatest mythological dragon.”
