Family plea for Cheshire man to return

The sister of a man missing from Ellesmere Port is appealing for him to come home.

John Burke, 38, was last seen at around 9.30am on Saturday 7 August when he went to the shops before his sisters wedding.

He was at a family member's house getting ready with the other male members of the wedding party, when he said he was popping out to a local shop and never came back.

Johns' sister Kate, recently returned from honeymoon to find he is still missing: "John where ever you are, please contact someone and let them know that you are alright.

"It's ok that you didn't come to my wedding, I just want you to come home.

"Everyone is really worried about you, we want to know that youre safe. Please come home."

He went on  John is on foot and does not have access to a car. He has family around the Ellesmere Port area.

Below is a message from his family:

"John, please phone home or contact any of the family. We are all missing you so much. Whatever is wrong we can try to sort it out. All we want is for you to come home. "

"If you feel for whatever reason that you can’t come home, phone or text to lets us know that you are safe and well. Your children love and miss you."

John is described as a white male, aged 39, around 5'4” tall and of stocky build. He has short dark hair, which is receding at the forehead. It is believed John is wearing a Blue adidas jacket with grey sleeves, blue coloured jeans and white trainers.
