Man left with spinal injuries after Chester attack

Police in Chester want to hear from anyone who saw a attack that's left a man with spinal injuries.

A Chester man's been left with spinal injuries after he was seriously assaulted in the city centre.

He was attacked outside Jack's Fish and Chip shop on Frodsham Street on Saturday night, after a row.

The attacker punched him once, before getting into a taxi with another man and a woman.

He was white, aged in his 50s, balding with hair around the back and sides. He was wearing a black coloured shirt, dark coloured jeans/trousers and dark coloured footwear.

The woman was white, aged in her late 30s to early 40s. She had blonde coloured shoulder length hair. She was wearing a white coloured top, black trousers and black high heel shoes.

There was another male with the offender who pulled him away but did not get into the taxi.

He was a white man, aged in his early 40s. He had short dark brown hair, and was of stocky build. He was wearing a dark coloured shirt, blue jeans and black footwear.
