New attraction for Chester

You could soon be able to get a birds eye view of one of the region's tourist attractions.

Chester City Management have put in a planning application to put a big wheel in the city this Christmas.

It will be similar to the one which stood in the middle of the Liverpool One shopping centre last winter.

It would give tourists and residents a view of not just the historic centre, but also into the surrounding areas of Cheshire, North Wales and Wirral.
