Pancreatic Cancer awareness week

A woman who lost her mum to pancreatic cancer is campaigning for more research into the disease because very few people survive it.

It's the 5th most common cancer but only 3 in every hundred people will live through it.

However if it's caught earlier, patients could be given potentially life saving surgery.

Suzanne Wood from Liverpool is using pancreatic cancer awareness week to encourage people to learn more about it:

"If it is caught early enough there are treatments that people can have that can buy you that little bit more time."
