Pub's takings up after Rugby debut
The owner of a pub next to the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham says he took £4000 more than a normal Friday night after the first Rugby League game in the town.
More than 10,000 people watched the Crusaders play the Leeds Rhinos.
It was the first Rugby League game in the town after the Crusaders move from south Wales last year.
Wayne Jones, Landlord of the Turf Hotel says they had to turn people away.
He said:
"The atmosphere was brilliant, the Leeds fans were singing the English anthem, the Welsh fans were singing the Welsh anthem.
"They were all hugging each other and most importantly for me they drank a lot of beer!"
