Three bodies found in Oswestry

Police investigating the deaths of two women at a house in Oswestry, have found a third body at a nearby location.

Local people have named the two women as Susan McFall and her daughter Francesca.

They were found dead this morning before another body - believed to be the girl's father and the woman's husband - was found at an industrial unit in nearby St Martins.

Detective Inspector Mick Homden said:

"I can confirm that officers discovered the body of a man at a location in the Oswestry area shortly after 9.30am today.

"As a result,  the police at this moment in time, are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths."

Police were alerted just after 5am today and were at the scene within minutes.

More than 40 officers were involved in the investigation and the scene has been secured and inquiries are continuing.

The coroner for Mid and North Shropshire Mr John Ellery has been informed.
