Over twenty members of charity “ Water Aid “ have been walking on the walls at Chester carrying buckets of water to highlight the journey women and children in the third world have to make to get water every day.
This comes as recent figures show four thousand children die every day from diseases caused by dirty water and poor sanitation.
Steve Swift from the charity has told Heart they’re doing this as it’s world water week
“We’ve got people doing similar activities in India, Signapore and across the UK today to hopefully raise awareness of World Water week.”
