Wrexham man jailed killing his partner

A man from Wrexham has been found guilty of the murder of his partner - Whilst their kids slept upstairs.

It took the Jury at  Mold Crown Court an hour and a half to find 41 year old Brian Buckley guilty of killing Leah Ingham at her Home in Wrexham back in February.

Brian Buckley will have to serve at least 22 years in jail.

A judge said it had been a dreadful attack for which he had shown no remorse.

The family of Leah Ingham say that they have been left devastated by her murder.

In a statement read by Detective Inspector Alun Oldfield outside Mold Crown Court, they said that since she died, every waking thought they have had has been of her and the tragic circumstances of her death.

"Our lives will never be the same again," they said.

"We will have to live with this horrendous crime for the rest of our lives."
