Ellie Goulding, Tones & I, Camilla Cabello and more big name acts are all confirmed to perform on the night... don't miss it!

We have already revealed the shortlists for The Global Awards 2020 with, and now we are proud to announce who will be hosting the big night.

Global presenters Roman Kemp, Kate Garraway and Myleene Klass will be overseeing the proceedings at the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on the 5th March 2020... and they're just as excited as we are!

The awards bring together all Global’s radio stations including Capital, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, Capital XTRA, Gold and LBC, to celebrate the biggest stars of music, news and entertainment across a wide range of genres.

The categories reflect the music, programmes, podcasts and news aired on Global’s radio stations and the Global Player app.

After a huge year, 23-year-old Scottish superstar Lewis Capaldi joins one of the biggest selling artists on the planet, Ed Sheeran in receiving the most Global Awards nominations.

The pair go head to head in four categories, Best Male, Best British Act, Best Mass Appeal Artist and Best Song of 2019.

After winning two gongs at last year’s awards, chart-topping sensation Dua Lipa will hope to retain her Best Female and Best British Act titles this year and add Best Pop to her Global Awards accolades.

Manchester Rapper, Aitch will also look to do the hat-trick at The Global Awards 2020 with, after receiving nominations for the Rising Star Award and Best Song of 2019 for his top ten track, Taste (Make it Shake). The 20-year-old also faces one of UK's most successful and celebrated artists Stormzy - who also receives three nominations - in the Best Hip Hop or R&B category.

Canadian singer-songwriter, Shawn Mendes is also amongst the second most nominated artists. He receives nominations for Best Male, Best Pop and Best Song of 2019 for ‘Senorita’ with Camila Cabello.

Best Song of 2019 and Best Female nominee Camila Cabello joins an incredible line-up of performers for The Global Awards 2020 with on March 5th which also includes Ellie Goulding, Tones and I, Aitch and Stereophonics, Aled Jones and Russell Watson.

The winners will be crowned in front of stars and fans of music, news and entertainment alike on Thursday March 5th 2020.

The prestigious ceremony takes place on one huge night in London on March 5th at Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo.

Ed Sheeran leads the charge with the greatest number of nominations at six, closely followed by Lewis Capaldi and Sam Smith each have four to their names.
