RULES

1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Blas Y Tir’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Wednesday 10th April –Friday 19th April 2019 on Heart South Wales.

2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must call 03456 88 88 77 (the “Telephone Line”). Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Telephone Line will be given out on air.

4. All Entrants selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation may be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, cannot continue the call for any reason or the phone line is not of a suitable quality for broadcast (at the discretion of the producer) the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.

5. Each morning from Monday 15th to Friday 19th April the breakfast presenters will randomly select a caller and bring them to air to play. 

6. The caller will be asked a qualifying question when brought to air. If they get the question correct they will automatically win an annual pass to Folly Farm and qualify to play The Easter Eggsperience. If they get it wrong the prize will not be won for that day.

7. In the studio we will have half-a-dozen eggs all numbered - One is boiled. A listener will come to air and select an egg. We will then smash it against Jagger’s head – if it cracks – no prize is won. If it’s the boiled one – they win the Ultimate Eggsperience (Prizes are selected by the programming team)

8. A Listener can enter more than once. People who get through on the phone will not be able to enter again.

10. Up to 5 winners (one per day) will receive a family annual pass to Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire for answering the qualifying question correctly. 

• Family pass consists of 2 x adults and 2 x childrens tickets ( A child is classed up to age 15)
• Annual passes are valid for one year from date of purchase, whatever time of year you buy them. We also give you a months grace period to redeem your pass.
• Annual passes get you entry into Folly Farm only, extra charges apply to some of our optional attractions.

06 April – 28 April, 10am - 5.30pm every day
29 April – 03 May, 10am – 5pm, every day
04,05 and 06 May, 10am – 5.30pm, every day
07 May – 24 May, 10am – 5pm, every day
25 May – 02 June, 10am – 5.30pm, every day
03 June – 19 July, 10am – 5pm, every day
20 July – 02 September, 10am – 5.30pm, every day
03 September – 30 September, 10am – 5.30pm, every day
01 October – 18 October, 10am – 4pm, every day
19 October – 03 November, 10am – 5pm, every day
09 November – 22 December, 10am – 4pm, Saturdays and Sundays only
Closed completely from 23 December 2019 until 04 January 2020

11. The bonus prize won by selecting the hard-boiled egg in the game will differ each day and will be decided by the producers. The Prizes consist of the following -

12. The winner will receive their tickets via post, Global will send the prize within 28 days after the competition closes

13. No cash alternative will be offered.

14. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion
