RULES

1.    The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions” of Global as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to the Devon County Show radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on Friday 10th May 2019 on Heart South West (The Radio Station).

2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Details of the competition:

3.    To enter the Competition entrants must call the station telephone number given out on air (the 'telephone number'). Calls will be charged at standard network rates and opening and closing times will be announced on air.

4.    The entrant selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation may be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, cannot continue the call for any reason or the phone line is not of a suitable quality for broadcast (at the discretion of the producer) the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.

5.    One caller will be selected at random and brought to air. The caller will need to identify the place name that is NOT in Devon out of a choice of two. If they give the correct answer they will be announced as the competition winner.  If the randomly selected caller gets it wrong, another caller will be selected at random to play. This will continue until a winner is found.

6.    There will be one winner only.

7.    The winner will be announced on air. 

Eligibility:

8.    Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.

9.    Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

Prizes:

10.    One winner will receive the following:

• Four Vice President Guest Badges for the Show - Vice Presidents Guest Badges entitle the holder fast track access to the Show on all three days (16th, 17th & 18th May 2019), admission to the Members Enclosure including Members Lawn, Grandstand, Members Pavilion, Members Bar and Vice Presidents & Sponsors Pavilion plus a priority car pass - These tickets are for any age
  

• Breakfast for four in the Limetree Café - can be taken any day of the show and does not need to be pre-booked
  

• Lunch for four (must be on the Saturday 18th May 2019) with a bottle of wine - this will be in the Vice Presidents Pavillion and must be taken on the Friday or Saturday of the show

• A ride on the Devon Eye for four people - can be taken any day of the show and does not need to be pre-booked
  

• Show programme vouchers

• A Cream Tea for four in the Darts Farm pop up restaurant - can be taken any day of the show and does not need to be pre-booked
  

• The opportunity to present a prize in one of the classes at the Show - this will be arranged with the winner on a day to suit
  

11.  There is no cash alternative.

12.  Prize redemption will be discussed with the winner.

13.  Global & Devon County Show reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
