A 10-month-old boy has died in hospital after taking unwell while at nursery in the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh.
Police confirmed they were called to the Bright Horizons Nursery on Tuesday.
The child was taken to hospital where he died on Wednesday.
His death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious.
Reports suggest the nursery remains closed today as investigations continue.
