RULES
1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Edinburgh Dungeon radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on Friday 12th April 2019 on Heart Scotland (the "Radio Station").
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must listen to the Heart Scotland Breakfast Show on Friday 12th April 2019 and text the keyword said out on air to 82122 (the 'Text Line'). Opening and closing times of the text line will be announced on air by the presenter(s). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates.
4. All Entrants selected to play will be required to talk to the presenters and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. If the caller doesn’t answer their phone, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, or cannot continue the call for any reason, the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.
5. Three entrants will be chosen at random from all entrants come to air to give us their best scream. The presenters will set a scenario from the Edinburgh Dungeon and each entrant must scream at the appropriate time. The best scream wins the prize package.
6. The producers decision on the best scream is final and the winner will be announced on air.
Eligibility:
7. Entrants must be age 18 or over.
8. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
Prize:
9. One winner will win a Family Pass for Edinburgh Dungeons for one visit, an overnight stay and £200.
10. The pass includes 2 x adult tickets and 2 x children tickets. Children must be 5 – 15.
11. The overnight stay will be at a local 4 star hotel for all including breakfast in a family room or similar. This will be discussed with the winner and booked.
12. The £200 will be sent via BACS to the winner.
13. The Edinburgh Dungeon is not recommended for those of a nervous disposition or children under 8. Under 5s are not allowed. Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
14. Full prize redemption will be discussed with the winner.
15. There is no cash alternative on the tickets.
16. The Edinburgh Dungeon is open every day except Christmas Day and Boxing Day – opening times vary so please check the website www.thedungeons.com/edinburgh.The Dungeon reserves the right to close, alter or remove shows and rides at short notice for maintenance or safety reasons.
17. Global & Merlin Entertainments PLC reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
