RULES

1.    The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘ScotRail Instant Win’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from 01.02.19 to 28.06.19 on Heart Scotland.

2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. 

Details of the Competition:

3.    The Heart Angels will be based inside selected ScotRail train stations across central Scotland between 1st February and 28th June 2019. For their chance to enter the competition, Entrants must find the station the Heart Angels are located in and show them their valid ScotRail ticket or travel card. They will then be given one ScotRail competition scratch card.

4.    The scratch cards will be given away between 1st February 2019 to 28th June 2019. Winning scratch cards will contain a code for a prize. Unsuccessful scratch cards will not contain a code.

5.    If an Entrant has a winning scratch card they must visit the website www.trainwins.co.uk, register the code featured on the scratch card and submit their details. A member of the Heart team will then be in touch within 28 days to organize delivery of their prize. The website page at www.trainwins.co.uk will close on 28th July 2019 at 23:59 one month after the final day of the scratch cards being given out. No winning codes will be able to be submitted after this time and prizes for unclaimed winning scratch cards will not be fulfilled.

Eligibility:

6.    Entrants must be aged 18 or over.

7.    Entrants must present a valid, in-date ScotRail travel ticket or card in order to obtain a competition scratch card.

8.    Entry is restricted to one scratch card per person per day.

9.    Each Code can only be entered once.

10.    No persons, including their immediate families, connected with the administration of this competition and/ or employed by Global or Abellio ScotRail are eligible to win.

Prize details:

11.    Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.

12.    Winning scratch cards will contain the code to one of the four following prizes:

Annual ScotRail Pass (5 x passes to be won):
•    Winners will have 14 days to respond once they have been contacted by Global (within 28 days of the Code being submitted via the website). If winners do not respond to Global within this timeframe, they will forfeit their right to the prize.
•    Winners will thereafter be contacted by the ScotRail customer care team who will supply a case reference number – this will be required by winners to fulfil their prize.  
•    The prize can only be provided via Smartcard. If winners already have a Smartcard, the Annual Pass will be loaded on to the Smartcard by ScotRail. If winners do not have a Smartcard, they must register for a free Smartcard on the ScotRail website.  
•    Registration and delivery of the Smartcard can take 7-10 days so the Annual Pass will only be valid for dates after the Smartcard registration period, and upon receipt of the Smartcard.   
•    The Annual ScotRail Pass can commence on any date in the month and is valid for one calendar year.
•    The Annual Scotrail Pass is valid for all Scotrail routes within Scotland.

£5 Amazon Voucher (600 x vouchers to be won):
•    Winners will need to visit www.trainwins.co.uk and will be required to provide their contact details and their unique winning code which will be displayed on the scratch card. Vouchers will be valid for 1 year from 1st February 2019. Vouchers will be sent directly to the winners within 28 days of the Entrant submitting their valid winning code.

£10 iTunes Voucher (200 x vouchers to be won):
•    Winners will need to visit www.trainwins.co.uk and will be required to provide their contact details and their unique winning code which will be displayed on the scratch card. Vouchers will be valid for 1 year from 1st February 2019. Vouchers will be sent directly to the winners within 28 days of the Entrant submitting their valid winning code.

£5 Starbucks Voucher (500 x vouchers to be won):
•    Winners will need to visit www.trainwins.co.uk and will be required to provide their contact details and their unique winning code which will be displayed on the scratch card. Vouchers will be valid for 1 year from 1st February 2019. Vouchers will be sent directly to the winners within 28 days of the Entrant submitting their valid winning code.

13.    There will also be no-win scratch cards in circulation. These scratch cards will not contain a winning code.

14.    Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
