RULES

1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Heart South of England Competition’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on Friday 24th May 2019 on Heart Sussex.

2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Details of the Competition:

3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must call 03457 102103 (the “Telephone Line”). Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Telephone Line will be given out on air.

4. All Entrants selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation may be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, cannot continue the call for any reason or the phone line is not of a suitable quality for broadcast (at the discretion of the producer) the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.

5. On air clues will be given out pointing to a well known celebrity with an animal in their name.

6. One entrant will be selected at random from all callers to come to air and reveal their guess.

7. If they answer correctly they will win.

8. If they answer incorrectly another entrant will be selected at random and the process above will be repeated. This will continue until a winner is found.

9. The winner will be announced on air and receive confirmation with 28 days.

Eligibility:

10. All entrants must be UK residents aged 18 or over.

11. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

Prize:

12. One winner will receive a family VIP package at The South of England Show from Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th June 2019 at the South of England Showground, Ardingly, RH17 6TL. Prize package includes:

• A 1-day pass for The South of England show for 2 adults and 2 children

• Lunch at the show at their Ardingly Experience Bistro

• One-night accommodation in a Fairway Suite at Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club with breakfast and table d’hote menu dinner in their 2 AA Rosette Anderida Restaurant

13. Parking is free. Disabled access and parking available.

14. Children under 16 go free if accompanied by an adult but will still need tickets.

15. Tickets are non-exchangeable

16. Dogs are best left at home due to the number of people on site and restricted livestock areas.

17. Tickets are valid for 2 adults and 2 children for one day only (winner can choose from Thurs 6th, Fri 7th or Sat 8th June 2019) and include lunch for 4 at the Ardingly Experience Bistro

18. The Gruffalo at The South of England Show - The Gruffalo will be making live appearances on Saturday 8th June only at 11am, 12.20, 1.30, 2.40 and 3.50.

T’s & C’s for the overnight stay:

19.1. This competition includes one-night accommodation in a Fairway Suite at Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club for two adults and two children (16 years and under), with breakfast and table d’hote menu dinner in their 2 AA Rosette Anderida Restaurant fro a set menu. Children’s meals are to be from the children menu. One bottle of house wine and one soft drink per child included. All additional beverages to be charged as taken. If an alternative menu is preferred or menu items with applicable supplements are chosen, these will be charged as taken. Payable by the winner.

19.2. Spa treatments and additional meals and beverages enjoyed throughout the stay will be charged as taken. Payable by the winner.

19.3. Dog-Friendly: The Fairway Suites are dog-friendly, subject to availability, a maximum number of dogs applies per room and based on number of guests staying in the bedroom. Please discuss with Reservations at the time of booking, a supplement of £30.00 per dog applies.

19.4. Please inform Reservations at the time of booking of any dietary requirements. Complimentary car parking is available.

20. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
