Murder Investigation After Woman Dies In Birmingham

A murder investigation's been opened after a woman died in Birmingham.
The 44-year-old was found with serious injuries at an address in Albert Road in Handsworth on Wednesday 23rd January.
Officers had been called to a report of a domestic incident just after 11am and found a woman with serious head injuries.
She was taken to hospital, but was sadly pronounced dead on Thursday (24 January).
A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
