Car crashes into shop front in Halstead

A shop front on Halstead High Street has been damaged after a car crashed into it last night.

It happened at around 9.30pm.

Firefighters managed to free a man who was trapped in the car.

They then stayed on the scene to make sure the area was safe.

The man was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
