Pedestrian hit in crash in Writtle

A pedestrian is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after they were hit by a vehicle in Writtle last night.

The crash happened on Roxwell Road.

It was closed for a number of hours while emergency services were on the scene.

Officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed a man walking in the road.
